Let's be honest: Did we want to see legendary electronic duo Daft Punk perform live at the 2013 Video Music Awards? Sure. We can't help that we want to know more about them! The  2013 MTV VMAs have come and gone, and now all we're left with are tiger-striped sports bras from Katy Perry's "Roar" performance, a photo of Taylor Swift looking intimate with Justin Timberlake, Miley Cyrus being straight-up freek-a-deek on stage, a mother f*****g *NSYNC reunion (WE'LL NEVER BE OVER THAT), and the image of Lady Gaga's butt cheek.

But what's the common denominator linking all these perfect things together? PRETTY PEOPLE!! Because anyone who was anyone at the 2013 MTV VMAs was, like, painfully attractive. Examples: Selena Gomez slaying the slit-game while holding her VMA for "Best Pop Video," Miley Cyrus grabbing her crotch because obviously, *NSYNC, simply being *NSYNC, and VMA Video Vanguard Winner Justin Timberlake, because duh. Oh, and Adam Lambert was looking pretty damn fine in his all-black-everything and Jared Leto? SELF EXPLANATORY. (OK, fine, #JAWLINE.)

But honestly, we were slightly more distracted by RiRi's two other GIGANTIC assets in this photo -- her equally glammed-out bracelet and chain necklace combo, obvs! Ummm, what did you think we meant!?! We're not too sure what law-breaking activity Rihanna's referencing. Maybe it's exposing those lethal abs via her ever-shrinking bikinis? Or, maybe she's referring to her naughty little "botanical" obsession? Orrr, maybe her IDGAF attitude now extends to breaking every regulation set forth by the American Dental Association?? We're pretty sure four out of five dentists would agree that skipping flossing because you're afraid of losing one of your gazillion-karat mouth jewels isn't the wisest path to dental hygiene. After all of that monkey business with Justin Bieber and his little primate friend, we kinda wondered if he'd take a break from hanging out with wildlife. But judging by this photo of Justin visiting with a polar bear, captioned "Dream Big,"  it looks like Justin's animal-loving spirit hasn't been shattered after all! Um, we're hoping Justin's "big dream" isn't about making a pet out of this guy. Sure, the idea of being spooned by a gigantic fluffy bear on a cold winter's night is cute in theory, but we've seen enough Animal Planet to know that those "cuddly"creatures will GUT AND EAT YOU LIKE NBD. So, if you want exotic, stick to to ferrets.

We're generally used to seeing Selena Gomez looking all, "laughing at the airport with my stepdad," "making 'goo-goo' faces at my baby sister," and "taking reunion selfies with my former 'Wizards Of Waverly Place' co-stars." But that doesn't mean that the girl can't occasionally smudge her mascara/loosen her false lashes with a good puffy-eyed cry over a failed relationship! And although it's set to hazy, synth-laden, bombastic beat, Selena's new jam, "Sad Serenade," is definitely less cheerful than what we've come to expect from the "Come & Get It" singer.

If anyone says that their favorite thing about summer is ice cream and pool parties, then they're lying. And when we say "add," we really mean stare at every single bulging muscle for hours. Austin is the REAL Incredible Hulk! (You know, if the hulk was actually a hunky heartthrob... The "What About Love" singer shared the BUFF photo on his Instagram along with the caption, "#gymflow." We wanted to... um, sorry, keep getting distracted by those... SORRY!!! It's just really hard to focus when you're trying to imagine how many buildings Austin could carry with his bare arms! But seriously, when did this happen? We always knew Austin was in shape (we've actually WATCHED him do a bunch of push ups), but, like, when did he go all, "I am strong to the finish because I eat all my spinach" Popeye on us? The term "sophomore slump" does NOT apply to Ellie Goulding, or her second album,Halcyon. Released last October, we've already been treated to such Halcyon smashes as"Anything Could Happen," the Calvin Harris-assisted "I Need Your Love," and "You, My Everything" which, although technically not on Halycon, was recorded at the same session. Now Ellie's back with the video for her latest Halcyon single, the Ryan Tedder-produced "Burn." And no, sadly this isn't a sparkly synth version of Usher's epic R&B ballad, but rather, in classic Ellie form, it's the perfect blend of pop, synth, and multi-colored glitter. (You hear glitter when you listen to Ellie too, right? That's, like, a normal reaction?)

Former V-Factory member Asher Monroe performed his new single "Hush Hush" at the 2013 O Music Awards, and we were -- how shall we say this eloquently? -- VERY INTO IT. Now, the official "Hush Hush" video has dropped, and it kind of feels like we've been given the last and final piece of the "Hush Hush" puzzle, you know? (What? These things get very emotional for us!) 

Oh, and in case you're feeling all like, "WHERE IS ASHER'S DEBUT ALBUM?," here's everything we've got so far: Asher's debut disc is reportedly 99 percent done, is due out this September, has the Monroe and Alon Levitan-copenned "Hush Hush" as the lead track, was executive produced by Chris Brown, and features cameos by Chris, Akon, and Sean Kingston. To which we say, #PRAISE.

Shot in Bosnia and directed by best foreign film Academy Award winner Danis Tanovic, "Hush Hush" features Asher making flirty eyes with a hot chick who just so happens to be driving the largest tractor we've ever seen. Asher follows his love interest, and next thing you know, he ends up in an abandoned warehouse (why do all music videos take place in abandoned warehouses?!) where he continues to search for his lady.

"Moving" seems like the right title for the new single from Travis, the Britpop band that's back after a five-year absence. (Hope they got caught up on "Game of Thrones.") The group -- known for melancholy yet never maudlin classics such as "Why Does It Always Rain On Me" and "Sing" -- seem to be taking a new direction on their comeback set, with the latest track a swift, streamlined pop-rock effort. Still in the mix, of course: singer Fran Healy's golden melodies, pouring through like sun through dark clouds.

Steel Cranes bring the sludge on "Boat Song."

Steel Cranes are from Oakland, Calif., but don't expect the duo to get all Bay Area Lil B on you. Tracy Shapiro and Amanda Schukle's two-woman rock assault has more in common with the Melvins or the Black Keys: the slo-mo heaviness of a 2,000-pound pendulum, as much grit as an abandoned highway, and a fearless sense of rock 'n' roll. On "Boat Song," the duo squishes deep into amplifier sludge, Shapiro stomping her wah-wah pedal to the limit as Schukle keeps the cymbal crashes on lock.

The Bloody Beetroots fan the flames with Paul McCartney in their "Out Of Sight" video.

When you've reached "Beatle Status" -- ie. that level in your career where you're collaborating with former Beatles members like it's NBD -- we'd only expect the results to be, well, explosive. That's exactly the vibe in electro-house/dance-punk pioneer Sir Bob Cornelius Rifo's (aka The Bloody Beetroots) "Out Of Sight" video, from his upcoming HIDEalbum. Featuring a guest appearance by the one and only Paul McCartney, "Out Of Sight" has Rifo jamming out on guitar and drums, madly spinning dials, and subsequently generating all kinds of fancy pyrotechnics in his trademark Spiderman-ish mask. Meanwhile, Paul materializes to add in a few verses via hologram (which seems to be the way pop stars travel these days), and soon enough, the two have raised so much fiery hell, that we're starting to feel a little hot in the collar over this whole church setting.

Because "We Can't Stop"-era Miley gets down with gold grills, nonstop big-booty twerking, all-white-spandex-everything, almost-naked pool parties, and most crucially, all underboob ALL THE TIME. But now that it's America's birthday, look me in the eye and tell me that you don't wanna blast the roof off with a little "Party In The U.S.A."-era Miley. Because I know you do.

Star Spotting: Harry Styles' Bicep/Tricep Situation Is Really Starting To Become A Distraction (PHOTO)

Don't blame us if we haven't done anything else today but stare at Harry Styles' arms.

Don't even try to get our attention for, like, the next gazillion days, because we are too busy gawking at Harry Styles' GIGANTIC biceps/triceps!! I mean, we knew that the One Direction member had been killing it with his boxing routine, but we didn't realize that Harry was actually stepping into buff Justin Bieber territory! Just LOOK AT THOSE ARMS, people! Anyone got a good guess on what the precise circumference of those things are!? We're here to measure and calculate if he needs help! (This is why having math skills is VERYimportant -- to measure boy band muscle sizes.)

The "Kiss You" singer was snapped traveling through New York City, but instead of chillaxing with some NYPD officers, Harry got bombarded by throngs of fans WHO ACTUALLY GOT TO SEE THOSE ARMS IN PERSON! We really have give Harry credit for smiling the entire time, but on the other hand, looking happy all the time comes easy when you've been working out THAT HARD! Set to a grimy, bass-heavy beat, Asher spits his verse about giving precisely zero effs: "Ease off, back up, I'm about to act up/ Floating, sipping, having fun, cause I be young and acting up/ Acting, acting up." Rye Rye's up next, claiming: "Gotta have respect for my bad habits" (nail biting?). Then we have Breezy, who rhymes about a group sex orgy on a plane (true story, apparently).

And of course then there's The Biebs, who, channeling his rapping alter ego Shawty Mane, talks about being young and hot and liking women... a LOT: "So better watch out cause I'm so ahh/ I'm on some risky business/ I like women and French kisses/ Mama told do the dishes but I'm here catching fishes." It's basically the go-to anthem for anyone who legit doesn't care about what anyone thinks. But in the wise words of Miley Cyrus, "Only god can judge us." We'll just leave you with that.

Roc Nation's Bridget Kelly is hard at work prepping her debut album (release date TBD), and what better way to rev us up than by releasing her "Street Dreamin" video, featuring a fiery collaboration with the Hottest MC In The Game of 2012, Kendrick Lamar? That's not to say that Bridget's amazing nails, bangs, and eyeliner don't get us revved too, but Bridget's voice and Kendrick's slick verse on "Street Dreamin" are DEFINITELY the main attraction.

Directed by Clifton Bell, "Street Dreamin" was shot near the railroad tracks in Greensboro, North Carolina, while Kendrick was on tour. Kendrick, Bridget, and their group of extra-attractive pals hit up the railroad tracks (is a "railroad party" a thing now?), where they chill, dance, and flirt with each other, giving Bridget ample time to sexily stare into the camera and show off her Scarlett O'Hara-brand waistline. Basically this is the impromptu outdoor you all wish you could throw. But better, because designer clothing.

New Video: Disclosure, 'F For You'

Disclosure grab the mic in their new "F For You" video.

U.K. garage duo Disclosure seem incapable of releasing a bad song, and the success of their debut LP, Settle, has more than proven the point. But they've also been on a pretty impressive tear of video releases as well, like their recent "When A Fire Starts to Burn" revivalist freak-out clip, and now their "F For You" video, which skips the imaginative narrative treatment pattern and inserts the brothers into the action themselves.

Star Spotting: Rihanna Does The Unthinkable - A Crotch Grab plus Hair Whip Combo! (PHOTO)

Rihanna was the queen of dexterity while performing in Amsterdam!

We can totally imagine Rihanna hanging out backstage before performing in Amsterdam, like, deeply contemplating her next onstage move. She'd be all, "Hmmm... I've pretty much mastered the crotch grab. How can I take it to the next level? Should I grab my crotch and throw up a peace sign? Nah, too easy. Maybe I could grab my crotch and Prancercise? No, too trendy. Oh, I know! I'm going to grab my crotch and whip my hair AT THE SAME TIME. Perfect." And then we imagine Rihanna got dressed because she clearly does all her backstage preparations naked (not that we're mad about that).

The "Pour It Up" singer was snapped combining two of our favorite pop star staples into one stellar combo while performing in the Netherlands, and it's pretty obvious that she's been studying Paramore's Hayley Williams' hair whip, 'cause girl NAILED the follicle velocity like a pro. We also can't escape the fact that she pulled off this incredibly complex move AND managed to make a modelesque expression and not an I-just-pulled-a-muscle face. Now we're left wondering what's next for Ri... will she take on the even more elusive/challenging dance trifecta: the "crotch-grab-hair-whip-side-eye" move?! If she does, you better be prepared to bow down to Queen Ri FOR THE REST OF YOUR LIFE.
