Star Spotting: Britney Spears Went Brunette At Elton John's Oscar Viewing Party!

Check out Britney Spears' brand-new brunette locks she debuted at Elton John's AIDS Foundation Oscar Party!
Brit's a Brunette!
Yesterday was quite a day, what with Adele taking home the Academy Award for Best Original Song and Jennifer Lawrence FALLING on her way to accept an Oscar (OMFG, but also way to recover, bb!). But what major cultural event really has our hearts palpitating aflutter, like we took that insane cardio spin class at Equinox? Oh, just the fact that BRITNEY SPEARS HAS GONE BRUNETTE! Because didn't she JUST look like this a second ago? A little chameleon, I tell you!
Check out more photos of Britney's brunette locks after the jump.
Britney, her Deep-V cleavage (she totally got the Taylor Swift-Selena Gomez "Deep-V" memo), and her brand-new brunette locks were snapped upon entering the 21st Annual Elton John AIDS Foundation Academy Awards Viewing Party last night.....

New Song: Demi Lovato, 'Heart Attack'

We're STILL PALPITATING over Demi Lovato's new jam: "Heart Attack."
'Sup, Lovatics! How impressed are you by your girl right now? Sure, Demi Lovato may only have one fully functioning leg (feel better soon, bb!), but that has NOT prevented her fromdominating at the recording studio, killing the 2013 Brit Awards after party scene (with a CANE, no less!), and now, finally unleashing her brand-new, full-fledged banger, "Heart Attack" (to appear on her upcoming 2013 album).
Listen to Demi Lovato's "Heart Attack" after the jump
Perhaps you already knew that Demi's forthcoming "Heart Attack" video would be more fashion-focused, but after listening to her new single in full, we can fully confirm that Demi's new single is totally "up in the cluurrrrb"-focused......

Video Premiere: Night Riots, 'Spiders'

Get the first taste of California rockers PK's transformation into Night Riots.
PK is back with a new name: Night Riots.
If California rockers Night Riots sound familiar to you, it's probably because you've been jamming to the band's The Lost Boys Sessions since they were called PK. One name change later, the quintet's embraced a spookier, synthesizer-based sound on "Spiders," their first track under the new moniker, and singer Travis Hawley still commands the music with Brandon Flowers-esque confidence. "We will march on, into the night," he encourages over ghostly backing vocals, "Don't let up, don't fade away." The band didn't forget their electric guitars, which chime in brightly on the second verse -- though it seems their vintage light bulb days are behind them.

WMC Bites (2/25/13): Adele Takes Home Oscar For Best Original Song, 'Skyfall'

Adele wins an Academy Award for "Skyfall."
Adele wins the Oscar for Best Original Song, "Skyfall."
+ Congrats to Adele, who won the Oscar for Best Original Song for her James Bond"Skyfall" theme song, which she performed during the show. She also gave a touching acceptance speech, and she's halfway to scoring the EGOT! (We'd be all about a Broadway musical starring Adele, just saying). (MTV News)
+ It was a music-oriented Academy Awards Sunday. Watch the tribute to movie musicals, with Catherine Zeta-Jones slinky performance of "Chicago"'s "All That Jazz," Jennifer Hudson killing it with "Dreamgirls"' "And I Am Telling You," and the cast of "Les Miserables" closing out the set. (MTV News).....

'AW' ALERT: Wiz Khalifa Is Already A Professional Dad! (PHOTO)

New dad Wiz Khalifa cradles Sebastian Taylor Thomaz in his arms.
Wiz Khalifa is a NATURAL at this holding newborns stuff.
Mazels to Wiz Khalifa and Amber Rose on their first child, Sebastian Taylor Thomaz! (Or "Mini-Wiz," as we refer to him in our heads.) And seriously, we can't even believe it, because a) such cool parents actually exist, and b) will you just LOOK at how professional a father Wiz Khalifa is already? Cradling that baby and supporting his head like a TOTAL PRO! Bro 100% read "What To Expect When You're Expecting" cover to cover at least twice. And also probably highlighted the most important passages and saved them on his iPad to review while on tour.
And we're not the only ones who noticed Wiz's impeccable "baby holding form." Amber, new mom to Baby Sebastian, has already dubbed her man as the best first-time Daddy ever. She tweeted (and from the hospital bed, no less!): "Best daddy ever.... Up with the baby so Muva can go back to sleep :-) ." Can't even wait to see more pics emerge from Wiz and Amber Baby HQ, but until then, we'll just patiently wait to get a glimpse of the coolestbaby on the block (and if we know Wiz/Amber's social media habits, we probably won't have long to wait!). We've said it once, and we'll say it again: BOOK YOUR PLAYDATE WITH BLUE IVY, IN ADVANCE, GUYS!

Star Spotting: Taylor Swift And Frank Ocean Get Down On The Dance Floor

Taylor Swift and Frank Ocean dance at a 2013 Brit Awards after party.
Taylor Swift and Frank Ocean ARE DANCING TOGETHER!
Yes, Taylor Swift is the resident "I'm gonna have lots of breakups with famous cute boys and then write about them" pop star, but Frank Ocean isn't too far behind! Because you and I both know that "Thinkin' Bout You" was toooootally inspired by real-life events which, if you think about it, kinda sorta makes Frank Ocean the male Taylor?! (Don't quote us on that -- we're just speculating!) And of course that makes this photo of them dancing together at the Universal Music BRIT Awards party even MORE THRILLING!

New Video: A Rocket To The Moon, 'Ever Enough'

Watch A Rocket To The Moon's "Ever Enough" video starring Debby Ryan.
Disney starlet Debby Ryan stars in A Rocket To The Moon's latest video, "Ever Enough."
The wait for A Rocket To The Moon's forthcoming Wild & Free album feels a lot like waiting for our favorite Chanel bags to go on sale... aka IMMENSELY PAINFUL!! The sad part is, Chanel bags don't go on sale IRL (unless you're a better sample sale shopper than we are), but Wild & Free WILL finally be out on March 26. And to tide us over until the album's due date, the "Whole Lotta You" singers have just released a brand-new video for their Ever Emotional ballad "Ever Enough."

New Video: One Direction, 'One Way Or Another (Teenage Kicks)'

Watch One Direction's "One Way Or Another" charity video.
One Direction get goofy across the globe in their "One Way Or Another" video.
One Direction's been on QUITE the Red Nose Day/Comic Relief adventure (which only further proves how sweet/kind/caring they are... obviously). First, the boys spent time with underprivileged kids in Accra, Ghana, to support the U.K.'s Comic Relief charity, then they announced a brand-new Comic Relief single: a cover version of Blondie's "One Way Or Another." After that, we listened to the single IN FULL (and it was THE BOMB -- duh). Next, we had a mini-swoon attack over Harry Styles baking homemade Red Nose Day cupcakes, and now, FINALLY, the boys' self-shot (!!) "One Way Or Another" video is here!

Rihanna's 25th Birthday Party Was All Rastafari Cake, Balloons, And Snuggly Chris Brown Polaroids (PHOTOS)

rihana_chris_birthday
Rihanna Instagrammed the ISH out of her 25th birthday party! Our invite must've gotten lost in the mail...
We knew we could count on Rihanna to post a BAZILLION pictures of her 25th birthday on the internet (which was just yesterday -- our present came in GIF form). Because when does Rihanna NOT tell us everything going on in her life? (Seriously, we'd feel like voyeurs if we weren't convinced Ri wanted us to see her naked.) And the "Birthday Cake" singer certainly lived up to her social media standards at her 25th birthday party with pics of a Rastafari-themed birthday cake (which came complete with a gold marijuana leaf, duh), balloons, and yep, cuddly Chris Brown Polaroids.
Check out more pictures of Rihanna's birthday party after the jump.
Rihanna chronicled her 25th birthday bonanza by posting a slew of Instagram photos with captions like, "Put this #cake in ya face! I made him lick all this icing off! Lol," and "#birthdaybehavior." We guess it's only fitting that Rihanna should invite her "Birthday Cake" cohort to her party (she and Chris DID look super cozy at the 2013 Grammys), but OK, it's just, UGH. We're stalling. This is what happens now when we see R and C hang out. We get caught somewhere between "Yay, Rihanna is a happy and glowing girlfriend!!" and "WHYYYY F$##**$$!!!!!" Rihanna, we love you, and we know it's your party and you'll eat cake with Chris Brown if you want to, but you'll just have to excuse us for a sec while we stare at the wall for an hour chanting, "It's 'Nobody's Business'...it's 'Nobody's Business'..."

Song Premiere: Tay Dizm Featuring Young Cash, 'Club Pack'

Tay Dizm's "Club Pack" will have you up in da clurrrb in no time!
Meet Miami's Tay Dizm! He's T-Pain's BFFAE, and you're gonna want to get to know him before he blows up, which we predict should happen within the next 36 hours, give or take. Cementing their bestie status, Tay's appeared on two of T's albums so far: 2005's Rappa Ternt Sanga and 2007's Epiphany. You might also recognize Tay from his 2008 debut single "Beam Me Up," which featured T-Pain and Rick Ross, or perhaps you'll simply recall Tay's mug from his second single, "Dream Girl," featuring Akon. Cut to present day: Tay Dizm is the first artist to sign to T-Pain's brand-new venture, Nappy Boy Digital, and has just unveiled his Young Cash-assisted jam, "Club Pack."

New Video: Lana Del Rey: 'Burning Desire'

Lana Del Rey is up to her old-school tricks in again in her "Burning Desire" video.
Let's all gather round the family room for a game of Lana Del Rey bingo, shall we? Lana's new "Burning Desire" video (a bonus track off of Born to Die: Paradise Edition) has everything we've come to know and love about the internet's internettiest crooner and world's coolest babysitter: big lips, big nails, big eyelashes, slinky dresses, '60s haircuts... you get the idea. Only this time, Lana's name-dropping California locales and dreaming of fast cars... or men -- either formula works.

New Song: Usher, 'Go Missin''

Usher teams with Diplo again on his brand-new song, "Go Missin'"
If it ain't broke (and everyone is OBSESSED WITH IT), then don't you dare fix it! We're of course referring to Usher and producer Diplo's outstandingly successful musical relationship: Last year, the duo's initial collab, "Climax," won Usher a Grammy for Best R&B Performance AND went on to hit No. 1 on the Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs. Now, exactly one year after revealing "Climax" on Valentine's Day 2012, the "chemistry"-filled duo is at it again, this time with a new track, "Go Missin'." (Also released on Valentine's Day -- those guys are such romantics!)

Beyoncé Looks Classic, Natural, And Generally Perfect On Her Gentlewoman Magazine Cover (PHOTOS)

Beyonce goes clean-cut on the cover of The Gentlewoman magazine.
We decided a long time ago that Beyoncé, Queen Of Everything, is basically incapable of doing wrong. Let's discuss! Right now the artist formerly known as Sasha Fierce is on top of the world after basically breaking the Super Bowl with her halftime show performance (not confirmed, but whatever), her HBO documentary, "Life Is But A Dream," airs tomorrow at 9 p.m. ET, the Destiny's Child reunion is OFFICIALLY under way, and we're not even gonna go into her upcoming album, marriage to Jay-Z, and baby Blue Ivy. Because we only have so much time/space. But you know what we love most about Bey? It's her ability to get totally glammed up one day (like in Vogue), then go totally natural and chic the next day, like she is on the Spring/Summer 2013 cover of The Gentlewoman magazine.
Check out more photos of Beyonce's The Gentlewoman magazine spread.
Photographed in black-and-white by Alasdair McLellan, Beyoncé looks the very picture of elegant and relaxed in minimal makeup, a low-slung ponytail, and a series of clean, figure-hugging outfits. Queen B recently posted the entire Gentlewoman spread on her Tumblr(which is also splattered with "The Mrs. Carter Show World Tour" photos). We know B's on something of an "honest" kick right now what with her documentary, "Oprah" interview, and New York Magazine feature, and now this simple-clean photo set is just the icing on Beyoncé's "bare-it-all" cake. Listen, don't be afraid to tell us more, B! Like, maybe your breakfast/workout/makeup routine?! We're listening.

New Video: Wild Nothing, 'Only Heather'

Wild Nothing had a rough Valentine's Day, judging by their "Only Heather" video.
Hey, who likes metaphors? Virginia dream-pop outfit Wild Nothing certainly seem to in their new "Only Heather" video, the latest single from their sophomore album, Nocturne. Because when you see a guy walking down the street with a giant sword stuck in his chest, the metaphor conclusion seems an obvious one. Well, either that, or Jack Tatum is so obsessed with "Game Of Thrones" (he has admitted to being a superfan) that he decided to urbanize it and make everyone feel a little bit like they were sorry they ate lunch today.

New Song: Theophilus London Featuring Trouble Andrew, 'Snow Angel'

Theophilus London teams up with Trouble Andrew on "Snow Angel."
We're 100 hundred percent tired of winter over here (it's just all gray skies and seasonal affective disorder after New Year's Eve!), but genre-bending Brooklynite Theophilus London isn't quite done with the darker months yet. After working with practically every artist in the book (think: TV on the Radio's Dave Sitek, Sara Quin from Tegan and Sara,Glasser, and Solange), the stylish MC has teamed up with Trouble Andrew for a chilling new track, "Snow Angel," which is set to appear on his upcoming album (ironically coming out this summer).
Listen to Theophilus London featuring Trouble Andrew's "Snow Angel" after the jump.
Heavily sampling Radiohead's eerie "Everything In Its Right Place," Theophilus' new track sounds just about as ominous as a report of an oncoming

Star Spotting: Selena Gomez Makes Us See Hearts, Celebrates Valentine's Day With A Solo Selfie!

Selena Gomez takes a solo selfie to celebrate being single on Valentine's Day!
Don't rub your eyes or adjust your computer screens! Those hearts you see floating around Selena Gomez's head in the above photo are for real and aren't just from the shape of her sunglasses. It's so nice to finally see a visual representation of what we always see when we look at the adorbz pop star! And it's even nicer to see that the color of those little floaty hearts seamlessly match the hue of her nail polish. THAT is how you color coordinate for a holiday, people.
